On the left menu you will find some of the reasons why you can trade with me with confidence.  But since it is always nice to know who you are dealing with, here is a bit about me and how the merrymurder site came into existence.

My name is Tim Morrell and I write the merrymurder games and run the merrymurder website.  I have always enjoyed murder mysteries.  I think as a result of being a ardent reader and my sister having the entire Agatha Christie collection!

I have been writing games for over fifteen years.  I started because I found other games (particularly the boxed ones) just too dull and predictable!  Writing my own games allows me to put in the types of characters my friends and I like to play.  I can also make sure the games contain good, strong, meaty plots!  Merrymurders not only contain the seven deadly sins, but several new ones as well!

I am passionate about my games having strong storylines and satisfying solutions.  All too often in murder mystery games you find extraneous characters who have obviously been “bolted on”, and insipid story lines that have precious little to do with the murder.  I make sure that all my characters play an essential part in the game and that the solution, when it arrives, is as satisfying as it is surprising.

There are also lots of laughter in a merrymurder.  By the end of the night you will certainly know your fellow players a whole lot better than you did at the start!  And you will have noticed that all the games have an adult rating.  The higher that is the more “adult” the storylines!  But there is nothing that should offend any broadminded adult.
