I believe that every suspect should be integral to the plot and have essential evidence for solving the murder.  No bolted on extras here!  Also they should be fun to play and larger than life.  After all, the aim is to make the party an enjoyable and memorable experience.  Colourful and dynamic characters will help achieve this.

Bought off the shelf, boxed murder mysteries usually give you, at most, two lines worth of information about each character.  Usually in small print on the back of the box!  Even some downloadable games give you scant character details until you have actually parted with your money.  I believe in being fully open about my games before you part with any cash.  Which is why, for every merrymurder, you can download a game booklet before you buy the game.

This booklet contains a detailed background for each character in the game, the same information that your guests will receive in their invitation.  The booklet also contains these invitations, giving you full details about the background to the crime, any relevant maps, newspaper reports, press archives etc.  All essential information you require to decide whether the game is suitable for your needs.  I believe in giving you this information before you make your purchase.
