A good party needs plenty of action and interaction between all the guests, both suspects and investigators. Merrymurder games ensure this happens.

There will always be questions and answers exchanged between all guests. But I try to go further. Some of the games have scripts which will be acted out. For instance, in "The Pungent Pumpkin Poisoner", two of the guests will startle the group by suddenly having a stand up, blazing row!  Characters are also given actions to perform at certain moments. Lovers who have fallen out may be instructed to kiss and make up. Those with dastardly, criminal backgrounds may decide to make a run for it when they see that arrest is imminent!

And actions are not just for suspects. In "The Wake for Humpty Dumpty", one suspect will be surprised (and possibly embarrassed) when an investigator comes up to him and, in great detail, points out all the wrinkles on his face to the entire group! By the end of a merrymurder it is guaranteed that all guest will know each other a lot better!
