Hi there!  Thought I should put a bit about me so you know who you're dealing with!  My name is Tim Morrell and the merrymurder website is my baby!  I have always been interested in murder mysteries.  I think it is a result of having a mother who had the entire Agatha Christie collection and two older sisters who were always forcing me to play cluedo!

I have been writing games for over ten years now.  The initial motivation was that the shop bought ones were just too dull and predictable!  And writing my own games allowed me to put in the types of characters I’d like to play, and to have good strong meaty plots!  You will find that merrymurders do not only contain the seven deadly sins, but several new ones join them as well!  And the other thing I insist on is that the solution and storyline have to be satisfying.  All too often in murder mystery games you find extraneous characters who have obviously been “bolted on”, and insipid story lines that have precious little to do with the murder.  I make sure that all my characters play an essential part in the game and that the solution, when it arrives, is as satisfying as it is surprising.

There are also plenty of laughs in a merrymurder.  By the end of the night you will certainly know your fellow players a whole lot better than you did at the start!  And you will have noticed that all the games have an adult rating.  The higher that is the more raunchy they get!  But there is nothing that should offend any broadminded adult.
