AUTHOR'S COMMENTS
This is a game I have
been wanting to write for a long time!
Ten Little Vampires was
inspired by Agatha Christie's most famous novel “And then there were none”.
It has sold over 115 million copies to date, making it the world's best
selling mystery.
In “And then there were none” ten people are invited to an island by a
mysterious host. They are each accused of a crime, then throughout the rest
of the novel they are killed off one by one, each death resembling a verse
in a nursery rhyme.
Although “Ten Little Vampires” starts in a similar way to the novel, none of
your guests would be very happy to be killed off at the beginning of the
game and have nothing to do. Therefore to reassure you that they will be
fully involved throughout the game, here is a hint as to what happens.
Among the ten players you will need four men and three women. The
other three roles can be taken by either sex.
l
A staked corpse is discovered in the
“Discovery in the Bedroom” script. However it is that of a character not
played by any of your guests.
l
One of your guests will die at the end
of the “Breakfast” round. However they will only have to sit out for the
“Lunch” round as they will be needed for “The Transylvanian Ritual”
l
One guest dies at the end of the “Lunch”
round. However they will immediately have a part to play in “The
Transylvanian Ritual”
l
Three guests will be certified dead at
the beginning of the “Bloodbath Aftermath” round. This is a very quick
round, as it is merely checking to see who is left alive after the
Transylvanian Ritual, and a medical examination being made of those who
died. After this all players have to make their deductions.
A full list of the stages in the game can be seen
here.
So rest assured, your
guests will be fully involved throughout the game.
