I am Mavis Cheek, aged 32. I have recently been employed as secretary to the directors at the Pungent Pumpkin Processing Company. Despite my meek and mild exterior, I am extremely efficient and intelligent, and like any good secretary, I can manipulate my bosses around my little finger. This is just as well as they are not always very well organised!
I live with my aging mother in
a small flat. In my spare time I enjoy crocheting, reading Mills and Boon
and composing my own romantic fiction. I secretly dream of being whisked
away by a tall, handsome, mature man, or becoming an independent business
woman and leading a glamorous life. Since starting with the company, I have
been involved in extensive liaison with
Gigi Sparkle, owner of
the marketing agency that the company uses. She is the type of high powered,
