Austrian Naval Hero
You are Captain Van
Tripp, aged 47, an extremely wealthy Austrian naval hero. In the last war
you made a name for yourself captaining the notorious U-Boat 17. Stealthily
entering enemy waters you torpedoed and sank many enemy ships. You are now
famous across the German speaking lands as a great hero and school children
learn about you in their history lessons.
After providing you with seven children, including your eldest daughter
Liesl and your eldest son
Friedrich, the first Mrs Van Tripp died.
You were left heartbroken and bitter by her early death. However after
several years of aimless drifting, you met the glittering
Baroness Elsa Shredder in Vienna. You and the wealthy
socialite decided to combine fortunes and were married at the Roman Catholic
cathedral in Vienna. The pair of you have recently returned from your
honeymoon touring Europe. During your honeymoon you spent several weeks in
London.
A staunchly patriotic Austrian and Roman Catholic, you are firmly against
the Third Reich and all that it stands for.
