Despite his French sounding name, the murdered man was a cockney lad from London. A pupil at the East End School of Performing Arts, he was at Slaughter’s Circus for his summer placement. During this time he was to spend a week with each of the main circus acts, learning their arts. This week he had been learning clowning skills with Coco and Ermintrude. Each night he has been going into the circus ring acting as assistant to both knife thrower Jade Edge and Illusionist Madam Titian. |
