I am Rapacious Rupert, aged 44, the infamous gentleman pirate. I represent the sin of greed. Particularly the greed for treasure! My eyes light up at the thought of getting more booty! I sail around the southern seas on my ship “The Avarice”. I have raided many of the British ships and stripped them of their cargos. However I very rarely take life. I am only likely to kill if someone tries to rob me of my treasure!

Pandiculus Slumber, the Governor of the fort, would like to apprehend me. However I easily evade the ships he sends to capture me. I have a natural aptitude for mathematics, and so with the sun and my sextant I can navigate the seas with ease.

I have not always been a pirate. I originally came to the Sinnalot Islands as a soldier, sixteen years ago. I was a member of the garrison at the fort. However I soon realised that a soldier’s wages were paltry compared to the potential earnings of piracy. And so, with a handful of my soldier friends, we stole a ship out of the harbour, and began a life on the high seas. The rest is history. I am now the most wanted pirate in this district!
