Fort Odd Job Boy
PRIDE
I am Darcy, the odd job boy at the
fort. I am fifteen years old and I represent the sin of pride.
I spend my day assisting at the fort, performing odd jobs. I also run
errands in my little rowing boat, taking items to and fro between the
islands. Finally I spend a lot of time helping
Lady Aphrodisia.
A talented actress, she puts on many plays at the fort, and relies on me to
use my odd job skills to help prepare stage sets and create props.
My mother is employed at the fort in the kitchens. She was seduced when she
was a pretty young girl, and consequently I was born out of wedlock. My
father did not stay around. As you can see from my spotty face and lank
hair, I do not have my mother’s looks!
Because of this, you may be wondering what I have to be proud about. Well
despite my low status, I am actually very intelligent. But I do not pride
myself on that. I am proud about something else. A secret. Which I may
reveal to you during the game…
