I wanted to try something a bit different this time. Often at murder mystery parties you have some people who are hesitant to dress up. Then at the other extreme you have the people who are so into it, they wish they could have more than one part! And that gave me the idea for "Antiques, Accents and Asps". A game where each player would have more than one character. Each character having a distinctive accent, mannerism or catchphrase to make them stand out. Perfect for all the actors out there, and for the people who don't like dressing up. Round 1 allows everyone to try out their vocal skills, but at the end of the round I narrow down the field of suspects from twenty odd to six. These six take centre stage and become the focus of everyone's suspicion until the end of the game. But there are still more surprises in store. Including another close encounter with death and Mystic Mags making connection with "the other side"! The perfect game for people who like impersonating accents and mannerisms! |
