COLOUR CO-ORDINATED GAMES

All the merrymurder games now come with coloured flowcharts detailing the question and action flows for each round of the game.  These flowcharts are colour co-ordinated with the character booklets and investigator questions, allowing each round to be split into smaller, more manageable sized portions.

For instance, in "The Pungent Pumpkin Poisoner", the Round 1 Flowchart looks like this:

ROUND 1 - THE PUNGENT PUMPKIN POISONER

All the items in each coloured flow have borders of the same colour.  For instance in the red flow, the two investigator question cards have a red border around them.  Similarly the appropriate responses in the character booklets of Lloyd, Inspector Brown, Mavis and Gigi are also encased with red borders.

The "Lloyd Hiccup" question is the first item in the red flow.  This investigator question asks the reader to state that the red flow is beginning.  This then means that all players with red bordered items are forewarned that their turn to speak will be coming soon.  And allows all players without red bordered items to sit back and concentrate on what is being revealed.

If you print the games of in black and white, you can still use the colour co-ordination.  This is because all investigator questions and items in character booklets have the name of the coloured flow they belong to written in the right hand margin.  Eg:

ROUND 1 INVESTIGATOR QUESTION

CHALLENGE GIGI SPARKLE
(Only after Mavis Cheek has told about her career history)
Earlier tonight I saw Gigi Sparkle handing Clifton Curry a small tablet.  Clifton put it away in his jacket pocket.  Gigi, can you tell me what was going on?

Having colour co-ordinated items alongside a master flowchart showing what should occur in the round allows the host to always be in control of events.

As far as I am aware, no other murder mystery company takes the trouble to provide such a safeguard to ensure the smooth running of your party.
