SUSPECT CHARACTER BOOKLETS

The Suspect Character Booklets contain details of the information a suspect should reveal during a particular round. This may be in the form of a response they should make to a particular question that someone will ask them. Alternatively they might reveal the information while challenging another suspect to explain some suspicious activity.

The booklet may also specify actions to perform at certain stages of the game. This might be apprehending a character who, in their booklet, has been told to make a run for it at a certain moment. Or going down on you knees and begging forgiveness from another character when your duplicity in a love affair comes to light. In some games the character booklets will contain scripts for members of the group to perform. All character booklets contain a "Protestation of Innocence" statement for the final stages of the game. The suspect will use this statement to try and persuade the Investigation Panel of their innocence. And it is also in the character booklet that at some point the murderer(s) will learn of their guilt!

To see an example page of a character booklet please look at the Example Components section.
