CHIEF INVESTIGATOR BOOKLET

The host of the party will be playing the role of Chief Investigator.  They will be directing the investigation to ensure things run smoothly.  Their booklet will give full and clear instructions on how to do this.

The Chief Investigator, like all the other players, may also have questions and answers to give, scripts to act out and actions to perform.  At the end of each round the Chief Investigator will be giving a summary of what has so far been learnt.  And, at the end of the game, it is the Chief Investigator who gives the dramatic denouement speech to reveal which of the suspects is guilty of the crime.

All items are written in the first person, allowing them to be read direct from the booklet.

Where possible, all Chief Investigator roles have been carefully written to be non-sex specific.
